HybridTrader: Community Beta

Weekly Update

Week 2 after go-live | End of Week 4, 2026

23 Jan–30 Jan 2026

The Week in One Sentence

Steady, clearer, smarter

We kept the platform stable, made analysis more trader-readable, added new data sources (including prediction market sentiment), and strengthened admin tooling to maintain quality as the community grows.

Platform Health

Stable Week

No performance issues or community problems reported.

Minor Hiccups

Live price data gaps affected AI accuracy. Admin redirect bug fixed quickly.

Zero Impact

Issues documented and resolved without affecting community users.

What Got Better for the Community

Clearer Market Write-Ups

Analysis now starts with big drivers first (macro and fundamentals), then technical detail. Feels more like a human analyst.

Less Repeat Noise

Duplicate trade alerts eliminated. Users see one clean alert on the dashboard.

Faster Trade Tracking

Monitoring checks every 5 minutes (previously 10), improving accuracy for entry hits and price extremes.

New Sentiment Lens

Polymarket integration built (testing phase). Real-time probability tape for key catalysts as early risk indicator.

Behind the Scenes: Building for Scale

01

Trade Journal (Internal Testing)

Workspace for capturing calls, reviewing outcomes, and scoring results. Testing with David to improve consistency.

02

Market Visualisation

Candlestick charting added so David judges how macro shows up in actual price action.

03

Resilient Pricing

Tiingo FX data integrated with auto-reconnection for redundancy and better coverage.

04

Safer Admin Login

Code-based login complete, deployed behind a switch. Ready when needed.

AI Model Testing: 60 to 7

Agnieszka tested 60 AI models over the weekend to improve output quality. We're now rotating 7 finalists to compare tone, clarity, and consistency before standardising on the strongest performers.

Owning the Mistakes

What We Learnt

Login journeys are deceptively fragile. We're tightening end-to-end checks so navigation can't regress quietly.

Time-based logic always needs explicit tests for empty or unexpected values. Both issues were resolved quickly without community impact.

Team note: Thrilled to have Pouria back and shipping again. Given the challenges in Iran right now, it means a lot to have him safe and contributing.
